Join us for a discussion of ways to make 90 acres on and near Rocky Butte publicly accessible and sustainably maintained.

Friends of Rocky Butte, Oregon Walks, Metro Councilor Duncan Hwang, and Portland City Councilors Jamie Dunphy, Tiffany Koyama Lane and Elana Pirtle-Guiney are hosting an event to explore Rocky Butte and think about its future, and to connect with community members.

The schedule includes:

11 to 11:15 am : Meet at the Grotto's conference room, hear welcome from Chris Blanchard, ED of The Grotto and elected officials

11:15 am to 12:30 pm: Join a "what-if" group hike -- look/dream about future trails, park opportunities, access to green space, and public activation. Length is ~1 mile.

12:30 to 1:30 pm: Meet back at the Grotto's conference room for an after-hike discussion with Metro Councilor Duncan Hwang, Portland City Council President Jamie Dunphy, and City Councilors Tiffany Koyama Lane and Elana Pirtle-Guiney. Light refreshments will be served.
